Twelve years ago today, I walked through the doors of First Christian Church – Canton, not knowing how much this place would change me.

How much you all would change me.

I came in just wanting to serve…

And somewhere along the way, I found a family.

My calling.

A purpose that still lights me up every morning when I walk through those same doors.

We’ve seen God do what only He can do –

Smashing walls, breaking chains, and setting people free.

Building community.

Lifting people from the lowest places and rescuing them through His grace.

We’ve laughed loud, cried hard, and pushed through seasons that stretched us thin. Some that might have broken us…

But still – we stood.

Still – we’re here.

Still – we believe.

Twelve years of stories I couldn’t make up if I tried.

Twelve years of watching Jesus work miracles in real-time.

Twelve years of seeing lives rewritten, including my own.

To everyone who’s walked with me, prayed for me, served alongside me, loved my family… thank you. I have always been, and will always be, grateful to be in this together with you, a small part of the big story God is writing in our city.

So here’s to year thirteen.

I can’t wait to see what’s in store.

Because Jesus is still changing lives every day.

It’s all about Him, all for the Kingdom, all to make Him famous and make Heaven crowded.

I’m more excited than ever.

The need is great.

The opportunity is greater.

Hope is rising.

And I still believe the best is yet to come!
